FAQ
Why does a 500 GB drive show up as 465 GB?
Drive makers use 1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes, while many operating systems count in 1,024³ bytes (GiB) but still label them GB. 500 GB ≈ 465.66 GiB.
US or UK gallons?
Both are listed: 1 US gallon = 3.785 L and 1 imperial (UK) gallon = 4.546 L. Cups and fluid ounces here are US measures.
Why can’t I convert a negative weight?
Length, area, weight, volume and data can’t be negative. Temperatures can, down to absolute zero (−273.15 °C).
