TodayHelp Calculators (“the site”) offers free calculators without accounts. We process only the minimum information needed to run them.

1. What we process and why

• Calculator inputs: most calculations run entirely in your browser and are never stored on our server. Tools that call our server (gold price, exchange rates, IP, DNS, WHOIS) return the result and do not keep your inputs.
• Images and PDFs: processed in your browser and never uploaded, so no files remain on our server.
• Page views per tool: to rank popular tools we count how many times each tool is opened. Nothing that identifies you is stored with these counts.
• Contact form: we store your message and, if you give it, your email address so we can reply. Messages are deleted automatically after 90 days.
• Connection data: to prevent abuse we use your IP address in server memory for a short time (up to one hour) for rate limiting; it is not written to storage. Our hosting provider keeps its own access logs under its own policy. The “suggested country” in the country chooser reads only the country code our host (Vercel) adds to the request; we don’t store it.

2. Browser storage and cookies

Favorites, recently used tools and your theme are kept in your browser’s local storage and never sent to us. The country and language you choose are stored in cookies (country, lang, one year) so the site opens the same way next time. The admin area uses a session cookie.

The site shows Google AdSense ads. Google may use cookies to personalise ads; you can turn off personalised ads in Google’s Ad Settings. The choice you make in our cookie banner is passed to Google as a consent signal.

You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

3. Sharing

We don’t sell or share your personal information. When you look up gold prices or exchange rates, our server requests the data from the providers listed on each tool page; no information about you is sent to them.

4. Legal bases and your rights (UK GDPR)

We process contact messages to answer you (legitimate interest, or steps at your request) and use analytics or advertising cookies only with your consent. You can ask to access, correct or delete the contact data you sent us, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (the ICO).
