Formula
- Tip = bill × tip % ÷ 100
- Total = bill + tip

FAQ
Should I tip on the amount before or after tax?
Etiquette guides usually suggest tipping on the pre-tax amount, but many people tip on the total. Enter whichever amount you prefer as the bill.
Why is the total collected a little more than the bill?
When you round each share up to the next dollar, the group pays slightly more than the bill. The difference is shown so you can leave it as extra tip or settle it.
