Is Base64 encryption?
No. Anyone can decode it. Never use Base64 to hide passwords or secrets.
Why does the decoded result say it isn’t text?
The decoded bytes aren’t valid UTF-8 – they may be an image, a compressed file or text in another encoding. A hex preview is shown instead.
